Hey there!Long time no see.
Some of you may know this, but last week(aka July 14th-July 21st) this thing called BookTube-A-Thon took place. If you do not know what that is,it is a reading marathon created by Ariel Bissett for the booktube comunity.
Unlike most other readathons, this one gathered both reading challanges AND video challanges chosen by Ariel. Also,on the YouTube channel of the readathon, the other hosts(who were all pretty known booktubers),posted their own challanges for book giveaways. The challanges had a great effect of keeping you busy throughout the week and they were very much fun to do.
Not only did BookDepository sponsor book giveaways, they also let the hosts choose a total of 100 glorious books for which the code "Booktubeathon" could be used to reduce the price.
However,if you ask me,the most incredible thing about this was the entire comunity coming together, either doing the video challanges and filling Youtube of that,or simply participating in the reading sprints that took place on Twitter and were,in my opinion, highly entertaining. This entire sense of belonging to a group that loves something you love is pretty darn epic and I am very excited for BookTube-A-Thon 2015 already.
Here is a summary of my reading progress throughout the week of the Booktube-A-Thon,and you can also find the video challanges/update videos on my channel,if you want to check those out as well:
PS:I would like to apologize for looking like a dead body,I wanted to get as much reading done that week,so I spent my days waking up at 9 and going to bed around 2am,plus I had also been sobbing quite hard because of re-reading Mockingjay.
Anyway,I will post some more on here soon as well, some good ol' long chat posts.
Until then,I'll leave you be.
Love always,
Me.
