THAT book

Hello there,loves.
I feel like it's been quite a while without one of my classy, long, awkward topic,no video related posts. That should be back,I guess.
Anyway,so I was thinking, there is this amazing quote one of my favourite persons in the entire Universe *cough cough John Green* said and it goes like "Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book." Now,I am quite sure that for a lot of people those book vary, from incredible ones like 'The Great Gatsby' or 'Pride and Prejudice' (also personal favourites) to something I would probably find pointless and incredibly bad, like, ummm,'Fifty shade of Grey'?I think that for John that book would be 'The Catcher in the Rye',as it is for a lot of feel.I,personally, was not that touched by that book,I did like the writing style and the idea that the book was built on,but I do love some character development in my books, and I did not like Holden and there were no other big characters to like,so the book was quite a turn off for me concerning that. However,I do understand if people look up to things like 'Harry Potter' and their entire lives are based on that particular book, but for me,no matter how much I may love that sort of books,it will always have to be 'The Fault In Our Stars',by the one and only, previously quoted,John Green.
I,for one,do not suffer of cancer or anything like that, happily, but I somehow managed to relate to the book so much, and this is something that seems to happen to many people.I have no idea why my entire life seems to revolve around this one particular book, but it surely does.I picked up that book a while ago by only hearing some nice things about it,partly knowing nothing about it besides the fact that it was about two kids that fall in love.I was not aware of the impact that this book was going to have on my life while reading it,or even soon after having finished it.All I knew was that I was IN the book,I was enjoying it,I was laughing and crying and everything caught in between these two states. It was so beautiful and the incredible quotes in it made me finally decide to write some of the great quotes I come upon in a notebook.I think I have about two pages of TFIOS quotes.
I think that besides only reading two of John's books so far (and purchasing a third one) I can surely still say that he is one of my all time favourite writers. His style is so unique, every word has a certain shine, his vocabulary sounds very clever, yet it does not sound posh or like he is just trying to impress by using long words,no,he loves building worlds in the best way he can,as good as he can.John also happens to be one of my absolute favourite persons in the world.I love his videos, and I have been subscribed to him and Hank for a while now,and I do not regret watching ANY of their videos. They are so genuine,so caring and so smart in expressing their ideas.John also happens to be quite passionate about everything in life, and you can see that everywhere he is,but in his videos, there is a certain energy that not many people his age have(and I do not mean this in an uncool way, since he is only a couple of years older than my mother,I just mean that after a certain time in this would, people tend to get bored about life and stop enjoying all the little things it has to offer). There really is an energy emanating from him when he talks,he is incredible.
Second, the characters in the book are so incredible! You now know how much I love a well built character, and all of these character are fascinating.Hazel is neither your typical silly no-care-in-the-world all-looking-for-love teenage girl, nor your oh-crap-I-have-cancer-I-wanna-waste-the-rest-of-my-life-crying girl,no,she is a very beautifully built character, with a great personality, she tries to enjoy the rest of her life and despite being aware of her condition, she is still thankful for her "little infinity".*Also, can we talk about how John Green knew that Forever21 is a teenage girl's to go shop?*She also loves reading, how much better could she get?Do not even get me started on Augustus Waters.I once saw a post on Tumblr saying 'We may all love Augustus Waters, but if he were real,we'd probably punch him' and I seriously do not agree.I do not understand how you could possibly fall in love with a fictional character, yet believe that if he did exist, you'd hate him.I think that if you believe you appreciate his jokes and sarcasm in the book and also believe you'd hate them in real life, then you seriously have some problems and need Jesus. Also,I did love Hazel's parents,Gus' parents,Isaac,Lidewij and, believe it or not,I did love to hate Peter Van Houten, because, somehow, his character just seemed to make sense to me(even though considering my comments about Peter, you might've probably thought I just HATED him and hated HATING him).
Anyway,so the movie is coming out in my country on June 6th and the closest cinema is 2 hours away. And the premiere is on a Friday, when I have school until 2pm.Yet,I somehow have this feeling I didn't have towards other movies I was metaphorically dying to see, like 'Vampire Academy' or 'Catching Fire' or any other, actually. However, feel like with TFIOS,I NEED to see the movie the day it comes out, because ever since the trailer first came out I realised how much it actually means to me,and I can not possible put it into words.I feel like if I have to wait about more than 2 days,my life will not be complete without seeing the movie, and it would be the one single thing on my mind because I would probably feel so guilty for not seeing it that same day.
I think this probably makes no sense, but maybe it does, for some people,a few, that know the feeling of having THAT book that just makes your heart melt and your life feel complete.I don't think John has any idea how much better my life has been since I discovered his books and I also do not believe he realises how much an American English teacher in his late 30s can influence the life of a 16 years old girl from Romania.
Anyway,I hope you guys are having a nice day.

Love always,

Me

"All the bright places" by Jennifer Niven ~ Review

Rating:   5/5 Plot: I'm not quite sure what it is that I could share about the plot so that I don't give away too much and ruin the charm of the story and the pleasure of getting to know the characters and their story not knowing much about them beforehand.I think I'm trying to do that a lot nowadays. To put it as plainly as possible,it's honestly as simple as it promises,it's the story of a girl who learns how to live from a boy who wants to die. However simple and complicated at the same time this might sound,it doesn't even start to cover everything, yet perfectly describes it. !warning:  there's a lot of talk about suicide in the book,so if you find that triggering, please do try and avoid getting to it Thoughts on the book: It's hard to even figure out where to start talking about this book, this is how big of an impact it had on me,so I guess I'll just start at the beginning. Once again,I've made the mistake (because this i
