A Belated October Wrap-Up

Hello friends! I have come to the conclusion that my return to booktube is just not realistic at this point due to work/college/general life balance or lack there of,so I have decided to bite the bullet and take blogging another short because I really do miss chatting about my reading. That being out of the way, here are all the things that I have read in the month of October (feat. all the spooks because spooks). Three Dark Crowns  RATING: 4.75/5 I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!! To put it as simply as possible,  Three Dark Crowns  is the story of three sisters with magical powers who are forced to go against one another in order to win the crown. This is fully a me thing, so the book might not be for everyone, but sass, sisterhood, magic and political intrigue are some of my absolute favourite things of all time, so a book with all those things and not one,but three  "unlikeable" female characters (don't you just love that term!). I gotta say that I did

The Haunting Of Violet Gray // Emily Sadovna

Hello friends! I am well aware it has been a little while until the last time I have posted, but I am rather excited to be back and have the chance to chat to you about The Haunting Of Violet Gray ! I quite love the idea of being part of blog tours and helping get some hype around books when they first get out into the world, so it is more than fair to assume that when I found an e-mail in my inbox about the chance to read an early copy of a self published book that was the witchy goodness I needed in the month of October, I was dying to do just this! So without further ado, I bring you some words about this exciting release. Plot Witchcraft. Time Travel. Conspiracies. Cat is inexplicably drawn to a beautiful mansion where she is seduced into the world of modern witchcraft. Upon discovering a witch’s journal, Cat anchors her mind to the summer of 1940 where she witnesses events that lead to a secret occultist ritual. Plagued by the paranormal happenings of the house and

Dear Martin // Book review // Blog Tour

D isclaimer : First of all,I was very kindly sent an early copy of the book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review and then they so kindly invited me to be part of the blog tour for the UK release. That being said, none of that affects my views on the book in any way, shape or form.Secondly, this book is very obviously by and about people unlike myself,so while I highly appreciate you stopping by and checking my review out,do make it a priority to seek own voices reviews before anything else. Spare And Found Parts || Book Review

Goodreads:   https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23566912-spare-and-found-parts?ac=1&from_search=true Rating:  5/5 Plot:  Set in a futuristic,post-apocalyptic and slightly steam-punky version of Dublin, Spare and found parts  is a modern Franenstein retelling with a twist. The story follows our young heroine, Nell, part girl and part machine, as she tries to change the world once more by changing her life to begin with and creating something never seen before. Equally depicts the search for companionship and the search for breakthrough. Thoughts: I quite honestly am at a loss of words when it comes to expressing my love for this book in a way that would do it justice ever so slightly. First off, I must admit that I found it unbelievable that this is Sarah's 1st published novel.Though I know she's done a fair share of nonfiction in the past,I do believe this is her first actual novel, which my brain simply cannot compute. This does not read like a de
