Artists through the lens: the writer

For the longest time I have been surrounded by creators of arts in all different shapes and forms,so I thought it would only be appropriate to share with the world the people who inspire me on a daily basis.
I can't not start with a writer and we all know it,it's simply impossible.

Petru Emanuel "Pepe" Ciuta has wanted to be a writer for as long as I have known him for -which,you know,if you take in consideration the fact that I have pretty much known him for as long as he has been on this planet,is an awful lot of time.
With two kick-ass already in mind,"either A.J. Christie or Peter Atkinson",as he tells anyone that listens,he is ready to take on the world of crime novels.Of course, there is the problem of living in a small country where this is a yet to be developed market and, well, the fact that he tends to be quite unhappy with his works and eternally ecstatic over the idea of new ones.
With a passion for Agatha Christie and Sephen King and an evergrowing collection of old typewriters, this kid is one to watch out for.

I was lucky enough to be part of the blog tour for the first book in the series , Dangerous Remedy , last year and it's fair to say these characters have been, as is their way, living rentfree in my mind ever since. Not only was the first book such a fantastic read, it ended on a cliffhanger promising many more adventures to come, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on the second installment in this series. Thus, I shall share with you all things Monstrous Design  so that you can join in my excitement! Synopsis:  Following the thrills and spills of Dangerous Remedy, the Battalion of the Dead return in a dazzling new adventure, set amid the opulence and squalour of 18th-century London and Paris. 1794, London: Camille and Al are desperately hunting Olympe's kidnapper. From the glamorous excesses of the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens to the city's seedy underbelly, they are caught in a dangerous game of lies and deceit. And a terrible new enemy lies in wait with designs more m...
