Readers

A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. It may just be another one of those things that stick to my awkward obnoxious personality, but I do believe that there is no fuller life than the life of a fangirl.Nobody feels things more deeply than us,and nobody understands things better. Not to seem posh or anything, but I believe that the real fangirls, the multi fandom, dedicated, amazing ones are some of the smartest people there ever were, are or will be. I mean, there is nothing more emotionally and mentally exhausting than putting every bit of your mind and soul into something that is better at representing yourself, your dreams and likings and everything, than you are.And I find it flatterigng when a fangirl pauses her show,or takes a pause from reading in order to talk to you, which makes it so much easier to know you actually mean something to that person. I find it really dull and I actually can't even picture it,so yeah,my heart hurts at the very thought of it,how a lot...

Christmas and people

Merry Christmas Eve and all that, people. First, may I just salute the Merlin fandom? We "celebrate" the one year anniversary of Arthur's death aka the series finale,so it's kind of a big deal.I just remember how it totally fuck not only my Christmas, but the entire year, mainly.I am still not able to re-watch any episode without crying like a moron,so yeah.May the odds be ever in your favor, fellas. Anyway,so there is this one thing I keep getting annoyed by right now,and it's the 'You should be nice for Christmas' sake'.I mean, let me get this straight.I don't want to act nice.I don't want to be all Christmasy.No.Stop it already. To repeat the exact same thing I had told my mother today when she insisted on this idiotic phrase this afternoon,I'll have to save : "If,and there is a big if involved in this,I ever wanted or felt like being nice,I could do that any freaking other day of the year,I don't need to be nice just becau...

Books and I

I think you sort of know by now how asbolutely and hopelessly obsessed I am with books and everything they mean. It's always been this way and it really got to the point where it is pretty much unhealthy. But that's just how I roll. I have this thing, when it isn't even up to me whether I like a book or not,it's more like the book speaks to me.I know it sound cheesy and metaphorical and all that, but it's true.I mean,I just pick a book and we become connected. It's not only about reading the book, there is an entire process that tires me emotionally, but it is all worth it. After I finally manage to decide on what book I am going to read,I really have to see how the book fits around my others.I love just feeling the pages, contemplating the covers and the illustrations and everything like that. There is also the smell of new books, that makes my heart fills up with the pures of joy.On the other hand,it sometimes happens to me to get a random book from my mom's lib...

Divergent

Hello, hello. I guess that I am supposed to talk about Christmasy thingies right now,but I am not a Christmasy person,so since I got super excited and cra cray about the FIRST OFFICIAL DIVERGENT MOVIE CLIP   and yes,I did just caps lock all that, imagine me hyperventilating right now.The music, the cast, the freaking scene they decided to choose...WHAT IS AIR?I've had a good couple of days,so this was just like another early Christmas present for life.Anyway. In case you didn't know (and if you didn't,then I am totally judging you right now),'Divergent' is one of the coolest movies coming out in 2014,starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James. The movie is going to be based on Veronica Roth's novel with the very same name. divergent dʌɪˈvəːdʒ(ə)nt,dɪ-/ adjective 1 . tending to be different or develop in different directions. "divergent interpretations" synonyms: differing, varying, different, dissimilar, unlike, unalike, dispar...

Fictional places I'd rather be right now ( aka HOME )

Hello, loves. It's me,again. So,as you may or may not have already realised,my life is kind of sad and dull, and there is abount an infinity of places I would rather be at any specific point in my timeline so far except from here.My hometown(which never really felt like the "home"  part too much, but anyway) is tiny and little and dull and boring and people are mean, dumb and egocentric maniacs.Sorry,I'm not sorry. 90% of them are like that.At least. However,I am also a fangirl/bookworm/nerd,so happily for me,there are a loooooooooot of other places I'd rather be.And they are most in my books. Sooo, since there are way too many to be told,I thought about mentioning a few of my favourite ones that just feel like home to me. 1. Hogwarts Even when I was a kid,my life was about as dull and sad as it is now.Sadly,I actually used to care back then.Anyway,so there were these movies that everyone used to tell me not to watch cause they were shit, but as the littl...

A Christmas Carol

So today in my English class we just sat and our teacher wanted us to do something Christmasy,so she brought us a short summary thingy of 'A Christmas Carol' to read and discuss it afterwards. I had read this before, and seen about a thousand movie adaptasions, but I was still keen on it.If you don't know the story,it is mainly about this rich old guy who is just very mean and cheap and hates Christmas because his life was always very sad.Or something. So on Christmas evening, after he refuses to give money to the poor and do something nice for one of his employess,he is visited by the spirit of his dead business partener, who is in chains because of everything bad he had done in his life and wants to help Snooge(I think this was the guy's name) avoid such a fate. So,he just tells him that he's going to be visited by three ghosts and he'll hopefully realise what he's doing wrong. First,it is the Ghost of Christmas Past, which shows him his past(obviously),and how...

Comedies

You may already believe that I am a dull, obnoxious person, but when you hear this, you are totally gonna think that I am crazy. Most people usually do. I HATE  COMEDIES. HATE.HATE.HATE. LOATHE ENTIRELY. I mean,I really can't see their point. They are supposed to be funny but 99% of them are just sappy, dull and poorly written. No plot,no action, just some poorly written and reckless thrown in there jokes. BAM! Here's your movie. They usually try to make it right with some nice cast, somebody funny enough to sorta save it,such as Emma Stone or Mila Kunis or so,but the truth is that comedies are really a lot sadder than dramas or thrillers, because they reflect how crazy for being entertained we are.And because of that, they reflect how we just wanna laugh at anything because it is supposed to be funny. Me? I hate that.I do have the tendency to laugh at any goddarn thing, but appearently, that is because of my depressive personality.Studies show that sad people tend to laugh...

Books 101

How do I even start talking about books? OMG. This is basically the biggest part of my life ever since I was about four.I remember being supah tiny and annoying and having these little colourful fairty-tale something books. They weren't really all the princess kind of fairty tales, but I was really keen on them, and I believe they were written by Hans Christan Andersen.I don't know. So,one day, just decided to read them for myself, since having someone else read them to me is annoying, irrelevant, and way too dependent for my style(and yes,I was an independent-to-be little creature of the Devil even back in the day).Of course my reading pretty much sucked as hell, but it was good enough to get me through a 20-50 pages book.I couldn't really make out how you had to pronounce certain sound groups or so,but I was just glad enough I could get alone through a book.It was kind of a big deal to me,I suppose. Anyway, the years got by,and despite everyone else pretty much either ignoring ...

Sweater Weather

When the weather outside is frightful  ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ Well,it is,so why not talk about something nice? Cozy weather. Or,as many people know it,sweater weather. It's that time of the year when things go all cray cray for us and it gets really chilly outside(unless you're in Australia, then this is another epic reason for you to be happy, except the fact that you're in freaking Australia). So,yeah, when it is freaking freezing and around -5 degrees Celsius, then you may need some changes in your life(and I am not talking about building yourself an igloo in the backyeard, since there is finally snow;but if you do want an igloo,go for it).No better time to make some nice changes, huh? I suppose, that many people start from changing their room. They just throw all the fall,Halloween-y decorations and go for something more like cozy, winterish,Christmasy stuff. Also, the pumpkin candles have to go,since it's no longer fall. One of my absolute favourite candle scents for winter would...

Role models

I am going to ue my good friend urbandictionary.com once again and define this: 2. Role Model 1. Someone that cares enough to set a good example for kids to look up to. 2. Someone that strives to be a decent human being My #3 role models may seem a little cliché,but they are actually epic as hell people so do not even dare say anything about them. 1.Demetria Devonne Lovato This girl is my absolute everything.I don't even know where to start from.I wasn't really much of a fan when the whole 'Camp Rock' thing started going on.She was just this new lovely Disney girl with an amazing voice. And that was it. But,God, this girl. Let me start talking, please. Did you have any sort of idea that she has been a bulimic ever since the very fragile age of 8?However,she's been crazy about her weight since the age of 3.Depressing,ain't it? She's always had this really crap realation ship with her dad, which is really ea...
