Divergent

Hello,hello.
I guess that I am supposed to talk about Christmasy thingies right now,but I am not a Christmasy person,so since I got super excited and cra cray about the FIRST OFFICIAL DIVERGENT MOVIE CLIP and yes,I did just caps lock all that, imagine me hyperventilating right now.The music, the cast, the freaking scene they decided to choose...WHAT IS AIR?I've had a good couple of days,so this was just like another early Christmas present for life.Anyway.

In case you didn't know (and if you didn't,then I am totally judging you right now),'Divergent' is one of the coolest movies coming out in 2014,starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James. The movie is going to be based on Veronica Roth's novel with the very same name.

divergent
dʌɪˈvəːdʒ(ə)nt,dɪ-/
adjective
  1. 1.
tending to be different or develop in different directions.
    "divergent interpretations"
synonyms:differing, varying, different, dissimilar, unlike, unalike, disparate, contrasting, contrastive, antithetical

Basically, the action takes place in Chicago,in the future. The society was divided into groups named factions, which are :
  • Erudite - the Intelligent
  • Dauntless - the Brave
  • Candor - the Honest
  • Abnegation - the Selfless
  • Amity - the Kind
So each year, teens aged 16 have to choose what faction they want to be part in for the rest of their lives. That, unless they don't pass and end up outside the factions, out of the society and only taken care of by the acts of kindness performed by those from Abnegations, who also happen to be the political rulers of the city.
Anyway,so there is this girl,Beatrice Prior who belongs to Abnegation, who happens to be the crappiest faction.Whatever.They have these simulations that help them to know what faction they'd better fit into. Her results are "inconclusive",meaning she belongs in the same proportion to Dauntless,Abnegation and Erudit,so that would make her Divergent,a person that the system can not know about, because some kind of accident may just happen to her,if you know what I mean.
Thing is,she sorta does the wrong thing and goes to Dauntless, where she is going to take the Highway to Hell,in few words and fall for this amazing, perfect, awsome guy called 'Four'.Also, her brother,Caleb, chooses to go to Erudite and things are just so messed up.
Erudite and Dauntless want to take down Abnegation and create an army, and holy mother of God,how do I even talk about this book without spoiling everything?Jesus.
Just read the damn book,I guarantee that you are not going to regret it.Except the last one in the trilogy,Allegiant, according to the darn spoilers I've seen on Tumblr.
But trust me,the first book is perfection.
No more words for me,I am still trying to get over this, kay?
You can check out the trailer right here .
Just remember, loves, The future belongs to those who know where they belong.

Love always,
Me.

"All the bright places" by Jennifer Niven ~ Review

Rating:   5/5 Plot: I'm not quite sure what it is that I could share about the plot so that I don't give away too much and ruin the charm of the story and the pleasure of getting to know the characters and their story not knowing much about them beforehand.I think I'm trying to do that a lot nowadays. To put it as plainly as possible,it's honestly as simple as it promises,it's the story of a girl who learns how to live from a boy who wants to die. However simple and complicated at the same time this might sound,it doesn't even start to cover everything, yet perfectly describes it. !warning:  there's a lot of talk about suicide in the book,so if you find that triggering, please do try and avoid getting to it Thoughts on the book: It's hard to even figure out where to start talking about this book, this is how big of an impact it had on me,so I guess I'll just start at the beginning. Once again,I've made the mistake (because this i...
