Comedies

You may already believe that I am a dull, obnoxious person, but when you hear this, you are totally gonna think that I am crazy. Most people usually do.
I HATE COMEDIES.
HATE.HATE.HATE.
LOATHE ENTIRELY.

I mean,I really can't see their point. They are supposed to be funny but 99% of them are just sappy, dull and poorly written. No plot,no action, just some poorly written and reckless thrown in there jokes.
BAM! Here's your movie.
They usually try to make it right with some nice cast, somebody funny enough to sorta save it,such as Emma Stone or Mila Kunis or so,but the truth is that comedies are really a lot sadder than dramas or thrillers, because they reflect how crazy for being entertained we are.And because of that, they reflect how we just wanna laugh at anything because it is supposed to be funny.
Me?
I hate that.I do have the tendency to laugh at any goddarn thing, but appearently, that is because of my depressive personality.Studies show that sad people tend to laugh at everything,so don't blame it all on me.I'm just trying to be regular for a change.
What I do mostly find funny or maybe even hilarious are wit and sarcasm.
That is funny AND sexy as hell.
I mean, you can't just be like,'Here, here, take a joke,no go play with it.I know it's ugly, but it's all we can affored right now.'I like amusement,I am not against fun,but I believe that there is a right time and place for jokes, you can't just be stupid enough to take some funny but still pretty lame lines and build a movie around them.No,sir.Also,swearing and nudity are not funny.Really.
I absolutely hate to death things overrated such as American Pie or Home Alone.I don't find them funny,I can't taste that kind of humor.Maybe I am a littl too depressive for that.Or maybe I am just classy.
Things that can actually manage to make me laugh my ass off are far different from those.
The things that I often find myself laughing at without even realising would probably have to be Doctor Who,Sherlock and Supernatural.I mean, they aren't even supposed to be funny(most of the time) but they just manage to make me laught like a moron and make people think that I am having a seisure or an asthma attack.Because they're funny like that.

Doctor Who joke, though, are pretty much connected to the past of the show,so we'll leave those for another time.I do think you got my point,so yeah.

Love always,
Me.

The sequel of my dreams? // MONSTROUS DESIGN blog tour

I was lucky enough to be part of the blog tour for the first book in the series , Dangerous Remedy , last year and it's fair to say these characters have been, as is their way, living rentfree in my mind ever since. Not only was the first book such a fantastic read, it ended on a cliffhanger promising many more adventures to come, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on the second installment in this series. Thus, I shall share with you all things Monstrous Design  so that you can join in my excitement! Synopsis:  Following the thrills and spills of Dangerous Remedy, the Battalion of the Dead return in a dazzling new adventure, set amid the opulence and squalour of 18th-century London and Paris. 1794, London: Camille and Al are desperately hunting Olympe's kidnapper. From the glamorous excesses of the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens to the city's seedy underbelly, they are caught in a dangerous game of lies and deceit. And a terrible new enemy lies in wait with designs more m...
