'Team' video by Lorde

So,I was thinking that maybe, just maybe I should take a break from my depressive/ing/ed posts and talk about something that does cheer me up.
Music.

Not very pretty but we sure know how to run things.

For those of you who don't know her,Lorde is simply one of the hottest things right now,or so I hear. She is a 16 years old girl from New Zeeland, and ever since her hit 'Royals' hit the radios, she is the hot thing at this moment.
When I heard about Lorde and downloaded her albums and shared her music on Facebook and stuff, nobody really gave a damn. But now, well, they seem do go all 'Royals' all the time.Is this good or bad?
This girl has a bunch of amazing songs, and she is also really talented,I am just in love with her voice, plus she is quuuuuuuite awkward herself. She has this boho sort of thing going on with her clothes, and her hair is really lion-mane level of crazy, and she is really true, and listens to stuff like Fleetwood Mac,which makes me love her even more.
A few of her songs that I love(except from 'Royals',and 'Team',which is featured here, obviously),would absolutely have to bea 'Tennis Court'(and I will also link the video to this one, since I adore it,down below),'Buzzcut season','White teeth teens' and 'The love club',plus, maybe 'A world alone' and 'Still sane'(tons of epic things to choose from, sorry,I'm not sorry).
Back to the video now.
Yeah, here I was, bored as hell after watching my shows and stuff, and I thought about checking to see what's new on Youtube. And then I find this. And I go into my fangirl mood.Okay,it is quite hard to get,and kinda bizzare, but this is what Lorde's all about. You never really can get what her stuff are about. It's just a bunch of dark things that also make you focus even harder(if possible) on the lyrics of her songs(which are deep as fudge, lads) so I do love that.
I love this interesting dark-ish vibe, which, and I really have no idea why this happens, gets my mind going to the indians(is this the right term?) in Australia,or maybe the tribes in Africa.I don't know,I just love it.
I love her.
Check it out and let me know what you think.
Love always,
Me.

The sequel of my dreams? // MONSTROUS DESIGN blog tour

I was lucky enough to be part of the blog tour for the first book in the series , Dangerous Remedy , last year and it's fair to say these characters have been, as is their way, living rentfree in my mind ever since. Thus, I shall share with you all things Monstrous Design  so that you can join in my excitement! Gods, monsters and ugly sea fish - Frances Hardinge's DEEPLIGHT

Rating:  ★★★.75 / 5 Plot: For centuries the gods of the Undersea ruled the islands of the Myriad through awe and terror: they were very real, and very dangerous. Sacrifices were hurled into the waters to appease them, and every boat was painted with pleading eyes to entreat their mercy. They were served, feared and adored. Then, thirty years ago, the gods rose up in madness and tore each other apart. Now, none remain. The islands have recovered and the people have patched their battered ships and moved on. On one of these islands live Hark and his best friend Jelt. To them, the gods are nothing but a collection of valuable scraps to be scavenged from the ocean and sold. But now something is pulsing beneath the waves, calling to someone brave enough to retrieve it. Review: The more I think about this book, the more in awe I am even though it's been a while since I've finished it. I had heard people singing Hardinge's praise for age...
